Alva Swing is an Associate Attorney at Mazzola Lindstrom. In his capacity at the firm, Alva adeptly conducts research and crafts vital legal documents; including affidavits, motions and complaints for imminent litigation. He also delivers ongoing issue updates and research summaries to partners, supporting informed decision making and optimizing client communication across all practice areas.
Prior to joining Mazzola Lindstrom, Alva worked in corporate litigation handling all elements of his cases lifecycle. While he was in law school Alva worked at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Buffalo AKG Art Museum and the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office handling both art law and general legal matters.
Alva earned his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law, part of The State University of New York, in 2022. During his time at law school, Alva excelled academically and received the Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA) Outstanding Externship Award in 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, graduating in 2017.
